Over at the PlayStation Blog, Sony and ILMxLAB are celebrating national Star Wars day by announcing that Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series is coming to the PSVR this summer. The series released last year on Oculus Rift and Quest and each received good marks when Pure PSVR’s own Chris Harding reviewed them on the Quest.
Each episode was polished and fun to play, although painfully short. The story mode only takes about an hour an episode but the lightsaber dojo modes offer near-endless fun and make the modest price tag a no brainer. It turns out that wielding a lightsaber is as fun in VR as you thought it would be.
It’s not clear whether Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series we release each episode individually as they did for Oculus or as a total package. Either way, Star Wars fans can add this series to their PSVR library this summer.
