SoundSelf: A Technodelic Will Have You Tripping in VR This April

Andromeda Entertainment has announced that it will be launching SoundSelf: A Technodelic, the first videogame to produce transcendent states of consciousness guided by your own voice, on April 22nd for PCVR headsets, as well as being available as a non-VR experience on PC and Mac computers.

In SoundSelf: A Technodelic, your own voice is your guide as you explore the hypnotic world of light and sound. The music rises and harmonises with you, with vivid imagery taking you on a trip, taking advantage of loopholes in perception to bring you a new experience of yourself and the world. Basically, it’s LSD simulator, but without the nasty side effects.

To play, all you need is a PC with a screen, headphones and a microphone. It’s recommended that you dim the lights in your play area, or put your VR headset on and play in VR to get the most out of it.

SoundSelf: A Technodelic will release on Mac/PC via Steam and will also be available for Oculus Rift. The price is £24.95 which, depending on your current drug habit, could end up as a cheaper alternative. Social distancing and all that…
