Budget Cuts, the acclaimed VR stealth game from developer NEAT Corporation, is finally coming to PSVR, and it’s just around the corner. NEAT Corporation, Coatsink, and Perp Games announced that on May 15, we’re getting both a digital and physical release. Budget Cuts originally released on the PC back in 2018 and was instantly embraced by the VR community. The sequel, Budget Cuts 2: Mission Insolvency, released in 2019 for PC headsets.
In the original, you play as an overworked and underappreciated employee at a mega-conglomerate called TransCorp. When you’re not reading memos, or filing TPS reports, you start to wonder why all of your co-workers are being replaced by robots. You’ll be sneaking around your Office Space, and instead of kicking finicky copy machines to death, you’ll be taking out killer robots with whatever you can find, in hopes of escaping the building in one piece.
Rob Edwards, Managing Director of Perp Games, had this to say:
“One of the most popular VR games is now coming to PlayStation VR. Budget Cuts is one of the most beloved VR games of all time and we’re so honored to be working with NEAT Corporation and Coatsink to bring a physical edition to PlayStation VR at retail.”
Pick up your PSVR digital or physical copy (if there are any stores open…) on May 15, 2020.
