Brexit has happened, so is there even any point any more? Yes, yes there is. While the real world may be falling into the gutter at an alarming rate, we can all take solace in the fact that VR worlds can be lovely places to relax, play, and forget the shit outside. With that, here’s what we’re doing this weekend:
It’s another weekend where I only have half of the time for myself, the other half being dedicated to flogging shoes for a company that doesn’t care if I live or die. Ah, capitalism! Now that I’ve escaped and I’m back at home, I’ll be chilling out by climbing some walls in Crytek’s The Climb, which I have for the Oculus Quest. I’d forgotten all about it… There’s talk within the group of a Firewall Zero Hour session, and given that it’s coming up as part of February’s PlayStation Plus offerings, it might just be the right time to catch some fresh meat unawares.
This is a big weekend at the Peterson ranch. My niners are in the Super Bowl, so I’ve been praying to the football gods that the game turns out the way it’s supposed to. Until Sunday, I’ll be playing two of my favorite VR games of all time. First, the fantastic The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners. It’s one of those games that I’m thinking about playing when I’m not playing. After that, I’ll be dusting off my copy of PSVR’s Firewall Zero Hour. It was my game of the year in 2018 and I can’t wait to get the Pure PlayStation team together for another tour of duty.
