Halloween has come and gone, and so it’s now time to start thinking about Christmas. The retailers have already decked their shelves with tinsel and holly while the remaining pumpkins have been unceremoniously thrown out and left to rot in the bins. Such a joyous time of year!

If you’re new around here, Pure PSVR Plays is the weekly feature we’ve shamelessly cribbed from our sister site, Pure PlayStation. The team writes their weekend plans, and we invite you to share yours. You don’t have to, but it’s nice to be nice, right? At the moment we’re a team of two, so our Plays aren’t quite as in-depth as Pure PlayStation’s…

This weekend will see my catching up on a whole load of reviews. I’ll be finishing up Crazy Machines VR for PSVR on PP, Northgard for PS4, and a couple of Oculus Quest games I’ve been dipping in and out of for the past couple of weeks. I’d love to play some more of the brilliant Thrill of the Fight, but I threw my back out during a hard-fought match this week and now I’m basically a cripple. Word of warning: do stretches before you go doing physical activity!

I didn’t know what to expect from Synth Riders on the Quest, but I can’t seem to put it down. Check my review later today for my further thoughts on it. And if I can get my stupid PS4 mic from cutting out, I’ll probably play some Modern Warfare with my son.
